Any unfinished business will be moved to the top of the next scheduled
hearing agenda.
 
Any supporting written materials for the hearing must be provided to the
Senate Finance Committee (SFC) 2 full business days before testifying.
Please submit 50 copies to the SFC, and 10 copies to the LBB.  Agencies
should consult the postings regularly, and maintain contact with their
budget analyst at the Committee.
 
Those wishing to give public testimony, please limit prepared remarks to 3
minutes.  The public is also welcome to submit copies of written testimony
to the Committee on the day of the hearing.
 
The afternoon hearing will reconvene 15 minutes after adjournment of the
Senate.

Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for a reduction of the limitation on the total amount of ad valorem taxes that may be imposed for public school purposes on the residence homesteads of the elderly or disabled to reflect any reduction in the rate of those taxes and providing that state appropriations made for the purpose of directly reducing local government taxes do not count against the constitutional state spending limit.
