Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2023, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Neave Criado, at 2:40 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Neave Criado; Stucky; Gerdes; Jones, Jolanda; Orr; Rosenthal; Schatzline; and Tinderholt.

The chair laid out SB 1526.

 

Representative Stucky moved that SB 1526, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Representative Tinderholt moved to reconsider the vote by which Senate Bill 158, without amendments, was reported from committee. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Tinderholt moved that SB 158, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
