Relating to prohibitions on the illegal entry into or illegal presence in this state by a person who is an alien, the enforcement of those prohibitions, and authorizing the removal of persons who violate certain of those prohibitions in lieu of arrest; creating criminal offenses.

The committee will meet to hear invited testimony only on the following Special Session agenda item:

 

Legislation concerning public safety, security, environmental quality, and property ownership in areas like the Colony Ridge development in Liberty County, Texas.

 

The committee will accept public comment on the following item:

 

Legislation concerning areas like the Colony Ridge development.
