Pursuant to a notice posted on April 2, 2025, and permission granted on April 7, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, at 8:04 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King; Hernandez; Anchía; Darby; Geren; McQueeney; Raymond; and Turner.
