The Senate and House Select Committees on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding will meet jointly to hear invited and public testimony regarding:

 

• the state and local response to the July 4 flash flooding in Central and West Texas;

• meteorological data collection and modeling; and

• post-disaster mental health resources.

Public testimony is limited to three minutes for each witness. If submitting written testimony, please provide 30 written copies to committee staff with your name and/or the name of your organization on each copy in person at the hearing, and email a digital copy to the clerks of the Senate and House select committees at Jayna.Grove_sc@senate.texas.gov and Megan.Quijano_hc@house.texas.gov, respectively.

 

Registration:

Registration to testify will only be available on-site. If you wish to testify, please fill out a witness registration card at the hearing and return it to committee staff.
