Those wishing to give public testimony, please limit prepared remarks to 2 minutes. If submitting written testimony, please submit 40 copies, with your name on each copy, to the Assistant Clerk during the hearing.

 

Oral testimony: fill out a paper witness card and submit to the Assistant Clerk.

Oral and written testimony: fill out a paper witness card and hold on to your documents until your name is called to the table.

Position only: register using the Senate kiosk located in the extension hallways or by going to Http://swrs on public-capitol.

Written testimony only: register your position using the Senate kiosk then bring your 40 copies, with your name on each copy, to the Assistant Clerk, during the hearing.

SB 1211        Perry                  
Relating to an exemption from sales and use taxes for certain tangible personal property used in hydraulic fracturing.

SB 1574        Zaffirini              
Relating to a centers of excellence program developed by the Texas Judicial Council and a merit payment for certain justices and judges.

SB 2774        Hinojosa, Adam          
Relating to the classification of certain entities as primarily engaged in retail trade for purposes of the franchise tax.

SB 2873        Kolkhorst              
Relating to the requirement that certain reports be filed electronically.

SB 2900        Kolkhorst              
Relating to the review of existing boards and commissions under the jurisdiction of the comptroller for continuity and to the repeal of certain committees under the jurisdiction of the comptroller.

HJR 4          Meyer | et al.           SP: Parker
Proposing a constitutional amendment prohibiting the enactment of a law imposing an occupation tax on certain entities that enter into transactions conveying securities or imposing a tax on certain securities transactions.

The committee may also consider pending business.
